Ionas Iona was born in Nicosia in 1983. He holds a B.Sc and M.Sc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (Ethniko Metsovio Polytechnio), with high honors. After his studies, he worked as a developer of software applications at Inteliscape Ltd (member Logicom Group), offering services for the design and development of world class software applications for clients such as banks, internet service providers and the Cypriot government. In 2015 he founded JoinMyWifi, a company providing WiFi Marketing Solutions which exploit the existing WiFi infrastructure of each business in order to transform it into an effective in-house marketing tool that can bridge the gap between company and customers and, ultimately can drive higher sales.
